The first cover of Rolling Stone was a still image from John Lennon’s movie How I Won the War, where he first wore his iconic round eyeglasses. The front-page story was an investigation into what happened to the profits from the Monterey Pop Festival.

Today would have been Layne Staley’s 44th birthday. 

He may no longer be with us in person, but his music and talent will live forever. RIP Layne, a truly unique and gifted musician…never forgotten.

‘67 Chevrolet saw new sheet metal and clean aggressive face. ‘65-‘66 grill below mid-bumper theme on hiatus but will return for ‘68.

Interesting that the ‘67 grille a reprise of the ‘56 but in mid-1960s form.
